the challenge
Most LIVE shopping happens in a controlled room, and for good reason: the format rewards consistency, and a studio gives you light, sound and a stable stream on demand. KAIIA The Label wanted the opposite. For December 2024, the brand wanted a showcase LIVE broadcast from Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, one of London's biggest seasonal events, with all the atmosphere a studio cannot fake and none of the control a studio provides.
the approach
We produced it as an outside broadcast, not as a studio stream that happened to move. Showcase LIVEs are our peak format: multi-hour, multi-camera productions with a moderator, a planned run-of-show and hosts who are supported rather than left to improvise. Every part of that machine, the capability we normally run from our studios, had to travel to Hyde Park.
That meant true location production. Camera positions were planned around the event rather than the event tolerated around the cameras, with contingencies for everything a winter evening outdoors throws at a stream, and a set built to use Winter Wonderland as the backdrop it deserved to be.
The commercial layer stayed disciplined underneath the spectacle. Pre-heat content told the audience when to show up and why it mattered. And the hosts sold the way we always ask hosts to sell: composed, product-led and unhurried, because confidence converts harder than chaos, even with a fairground behind you. It is the same funnel we teach in how to sell on TikTok LIVE, run in the least controllable venue we could have chosen.
the outcome
KAIIA The Label got its brand moment: a high-production showcase LIVE streamed to TikTok from the middle of Winter Wonderland. Daily LIVEs build an audience and showcases drive the peaks, and this one doubled as proof that the format travels. When the setting is genuinely special, a LIVE stops being a broadcast about products and becomes an event people want to be at.
