the challenge
By the summer of 2025, P.Louise was already one of the strongest brands on UK TikTok Shop, with a live room that had become the most-watched in UK beauty. The next step was not another good month. It was a single broadcast built to do something no Western brand had done. The target going in was £1m+ in one LIVE, a figure that would itself have rewritten the record books. Nobody in the UK, Europe or the US had come close.
P.Louise had the audience, the products and one of the most committed communities in beauty. What the day needed was an engine: an offer architecture, a run of show and a room built to hold an enormous audience hour after hour without letting the energy, or the basket, drop.
the build-up
Record days are planned, not improvised. The work ran through the same four phases we bring to every showcase: planning, promotion, production, reporting. Planning locked the objectives, the offer architecture, the talent schedule and the product selection, mapped hour by hour so every segment of the broadcast had a job to do.
A LIVE is only as big as its audience, so we built the room before we ever went live. Pre-heat content seeded the event across the FYP in the days before. The affiliate community was mobilised behind the moment, with championship-style incentives lifting posting frequency so the algorithm was already warm when the cameras switched on. Reminders ran across every owned channel, all pointing at one date.
fourteen hours on air
The Super LIVE ran for 14 hours. Somerce was onsite throughout, delivering the live shopping strategy and full moderation support from inside the room: a moderator and a live strategist on air for every minute of the broadcast, holding hosts to the plan and reading performance in real time.
Urgency was engineered, never desperate. The broadcast was broken into 15-minute rounds, the mechanic P.Louise runs as Jackpot Boxes and one of the strongest converters we see on the platform. Buy anything within the round and you are in the draw for a prize announced live before the next round starts. Urgency resets every quarter hour, and because any purchase enters the draw, the natural move is to build a basket worth entering with. The mechanic sells the bundle.
And the bundles were built to be worth it. Every top-ten SKU on the day was a bundle or set priced 30 to 50% below the sum of its parts, arranged on a tiered ladder: entry points around £15, mid tiers around £60, hero bundles at £100 plus, all of it only-here, only-now. That architecture is why the average order value held at $80 across fourteen hours of trading.

the result
$2.7mOf GMV — more than £2m sterling — in a single broadcast. 40 million impressions. An $80 average order value. And the number we are proudest of: 78% positive audience sentiment, against a 42% average for beauty lives. A 54% share rate, 18% of viewers hitting follow, seven chat interactions per viewer and a 1.21x rejoin rate. Nearly half of viewers reported experiencing joy during the event. Records are usually loud. This one was loved.
what it proves
The record was not a spike, it was proof of a repeatable engine. The same team, mechanics and bundle discipline carried P.Louise through a £26m Q4, a 250% uplift, including a £10m+ month on TikTok Shop traded without a single flash sale. One broadcast reset what a Western brand believes is possible on the platform.
The playbook behind the day, education-led selling, engineered urgency and bundle-first trading, is the same one our TikTok LIVE service runs for every brand, fed by affiliate communities that warm the audience daily. For the method in full, read how to sell on TikTok LIVE.
